Elizabeth A.Thompson, DVM, MANZCVS (Equine Dentistry), GradDipTeach (Sec Sci), aka Dr. Liz, is available to care for your equids or give talks to your group. Our practice is open from 9 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday for appointments, and we offer emergency care for your animals after hours and on weekends.
BMEVC is back in business after Dr. Thompson’s recovery from spinal injury. She offers primary and referral equine veterinary dentistry performed to an international level and equine medical/surgical care, including portable X-ray, endoscopy, acupuncture, chiropractic, Ortho Bionomy and Postural Rehabilitation (acupuncture, chiropractic, saddle fitting and hoof balance) from the Hauraki Plains through to the Coromandel and Bay of Plenty.
We also offer acupuncture for your down cows and small animals after they have been seen by your regular veterinarian.
