This event has been postponed from it’s original date in March:
“After lengthy discussions the decision has been made by the Repco Beach Hop Committee to postpone Beach Hop 20 until 25 - 29 November 2020. GO Waihi have been in discussions with Repco Beach Hop 20 throughout this process, and with the Hauraki District Council, and have also considered options and the effect on our local Waihi Business and the Community. In the end though the decision the Repco Beach Hop 20 have made is a decision we support and as such the Oceana Gold & GO Waihi Warm Up Party for Beach Hop will be on 25 November 2020. We are sorry for any inconvenience this change of date may cause, but we hope the community understands that this decision has been made for the greater good of the wider community and follows recent government guidelines.”
