Well last weekend was a doozy, fine weather, lots of visitors and the extra day suited me just fine. We’re a month into daylight saving, and suddenly the longest day will sneak up just before Christmas. NCEA and scholarship exams are looming up, and Christmas Eve is just 59 sleeps away. I guess I’d better start behaving, not! What’s coming up? Let’s see.
CONGRATULATIONS CRUNCHIE BAR COUNTERS
We had hundreds of entries in the GO Waihi Guess the Number of Crunchie Bars Competition with New World Waihi. The final tally was 287. First prize of a $100 New World Waihi voucher went to 10-year-old Brody Orchard from Waihi, who was right on the mark. Anna-May Death (8) was only a couple off and won a $75 New World voucher, while 3rd place was a draw with 2-year-old Lillie and 5-year-old Skylah Garner winning the $50 voucher. And they all received Crunchie bars too. Thanks for entering, and thanks New World Waihi for the fitness and fun.
