And so Spring begins, unofficially but beginning anyway. The Spring Cleaning hasn’t been done but who cares. The BBQ’s due for a quick clean up ready for another season, the shorts never got put away for quite a few, and ‘miserable’ is a state of mind that people really should get over. I guess the next thing to moan about will be the heat and lack of showers over summer. Oh the glare and the wind are always good to pick on too. Get over it and start enjoying four seasons, or go live whe... Read more »

The word is ‘the more the merrier’ Saturday for this year’s dune planting. Children can help too; just get them along for the start at 10 am at the surf club. Take a spade or trowel, a good pair of shoes and a friend or two to get the job done and then it’s BBQ time for all the volunteers. Great idea, now for a good turnout; and visitors are welcome to help! Read more »
Here we are again on another Friday, with the weekend looming up. Spring cleaning should be well underway ... A frost or two to come and Daylight Saving’s doing the same, arriving in just over a week next Sunday 25 September. It’s a good time to be sorting a little space in your garden, nothing too serious but the rewards are well worth just a little effor... Read more »

Now for some nice swells and a BBQ and we’ll be set. Welcome to the place we like to call home. GOLDFEST - A FEAST... Read more »
