The International Day of Older Persons will be celebrated in Waihi on Monday September 26th. Hauraki District Council's Positive Ageing Strategy's aim is to promote older people and their contribution to society and the community in a positive light.
Anyone 55 or older is invited to Waihi Library at 1 pm where you'll learn about the computers, e-books and audio books. Then at 2 pm at Waihi Memorial Hall you’ll enjoy afternoon tea and learn some healthy living tips. Register with HDC.
