Through the morning there will be sales in shops, stalls outside, bargains galore, and even a bit of entertainment through town leading up to the big parade, and it will be even bigger if you turn up.
Remember Seddon St will be closed from Rosemont Rd / Moresby Ave up to the roundabout at Mueller St between midday and 2pm.
A quick request please for vehicles to clear the road before the road closure, otherwise you’re likely to be part of the parade!
FLOATSAre you looking at entering a float? Entries are looking good. If you haven't got your form back to us yet, now's good, it's not too late. Main thing is to register so things run a little smoother on Saturday.
Clubs and groups, schools, shops and businesses, friends, neighbours, workshops, societies, individual entries, along with multiple floats coming in under the one entry, we had it all last year. The inside word from Santa Claus is for fine weather and a definite arrival time of 1pm. There are rumours he would like to have a look around town beforehand, but it could be a quick fly by, depending on time available.
It’s great to have Harcourts Real Estate as our major sponsor again. It would be good to have two or three more category sponsors, so if you would like a bit of publicity and to be part of the day,

BOOK YOURSELF A STALL SITE!There's a space or three left for stalls for this Market Day and Parade downtown in Waihi. Remember we are looking for things that the shops don't stock, so if that sounds like you, and you don't mind the $10 fee that goes to the Waihi Toy Library this year, then get in touch now.
