To mark 20 years of mining in Waihi by Newmont Waihi Gold, they're hosting a free movie evening at Morgan Park.
Not only movies but loads of family activities too. Newmont Waihi Gold is marking their 20th anniversary in Waihi by holding an entertainment evening for the community on Friday December 5th.
It's free for the music, movies and entertainment, and there will be food and refreshments for sale as well. They'll have people making balloon animals, belly dancers, bouncy castles, a climbing tower, super slide, face painting, street entertainers ... but wait there's more. A couple of classic Kiwi family movies on the big screen just on dusk will wrap up the evening.
