Waihi Lions are holding another Trolley Derby as part of Goldfest 2009.
They are putting the challenge out to shops and businesses, schools (teachers Vs pupils, school Vs school, class projects etc), clubs, neighbours and families to come join in the fun.
There will be all sorts of categories depending on entries. The funniest, fastest and slowest are pretty straight forward. There will be a class for the classics, as well as the best trolley using recyclable materials. Dad and daughter, Mum and son, Mum versus Dad, the list goes on.
Build your trolley now and get set for a fun event.Note: It needs brakes and has to have wheels no higher than 300mm. Apart from that just make it safe and the scrutinisers from Waihi Lions, who have the final say, shouldn’t have too many problems.Download the rules and entry form(350kb PDF).
